You know a few months ago, I had no idea this blog world existed. I have become almost addicted to it. For the fact it is fun to record many events of my life. To keep in contact with a few people I don't see regularly. I have found it is quit addicting to spend hours on here, reading many posts of lives I don't even know. This is crazy, I understand that, but for some reason a heart felt post just draws me in. I also think it's been a great way to let people into your life a little without breaking down in tears telling them stories about yourself.

Many of you out there have endured many trails in your lives. Many of you have been through so much. I want to just name a few that amaze me personally. Addictions, abuse, adoptions, depression, death, infertility, divorce, loneliness, wealth and poverty, marriage, loss of child or children, mental and physical disabilities. Many more I'm sure. Some of you have endured many more than others. I marvel at the people that with stand these things. So many other, that lend a willing hand to recover some of the issues that result from the problems these things cause.

The last few months Steven and I have been heavily involved in the adoption world of things. This may seem quit minimal to some of you. For myself, I have spent numerous hours lying awake at night wondering how this will take place. I wonder, if we will receive a phone call in the middle of the night that informs us of a new arrival, or if it will be planned out to the last detail. To be honest, if this is the right time for a adoption to take place in our life. I wonder everyday WHAT we should do to find the right situation for us. Do you wonder if Heavenly Father tests every humbling situation to see what your willing to go through for something you desire so bad?

I have had many things in my life that have taken a great deal of FAITH, to deal with. Never have I looked at this situation with little faith, because it takes so much. It is a pure miracle we have a healthy daughter as it is. To add to our family that would be miraculous. We would love it.

I am going to use you for a moment, if I can. I would love it if you keep us in your prayers. I do know many of you do this anyway, but I'm doing my part. I hope that isn't to much to ask. Who knows it might even save me a night of sleep. I have decided it takes a village to raise a child. I figured it probably would take a few more prayers than mine to receive a child as well. Thanks we appreciate you. For all of you who might have stumbled onto this by accident. I invite you to help us too!

CAMPING AT WILLOW FLATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kylee is enjoying nature to the fullest!

These are our nieces that come to stay with their Grandparents for the summer! They enjoyed the weekend with us.

Steven spent half our camping trip worried about insurance on our four wheeler. Yes we are covered!

Kylee was enjoying her imagination on the four wheeler. Pretending is so much fun.

Since, I look horrendous when I camp. Here are the pictures, I took to fill my place!

We went camping over the holiday, at Willow flats. It was so beautiful there. The water, relaxed all of us. The campfire, was mesmerizing. The conditions, were great we went four wheeling and ate great amounts of food. The company was delightful. I am fulfilled!

We went to Grandma's a few days ago for buggy rides! I haven't had the chance to post it so I thought I would add it to this one!

Horse and buggy rides for all the grand kids when they go see Grandma in the summer! They all love it. This is Arikka, Zander, Kylee, and Grandma Sue.
All of them love to help get her ready!

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch

Kylee was out playing on her awesome playground. (She thinks the park by our house is hers.) While running with a rock, she tripped on the sidewalk. Her rock and shoe went flying.

Steven went running! The first thing she said to him was "Dad, I lost my rock and my shoe." Then she seen her poor little toe. Started to cry. Dad carried her into mom to doctor up. She did pretty well, it makes me hurt to look at the pictures of her wound. OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!

Steven laid down with her to take a nap and asked her if she would be able to dance. Kylee said "I think so but I probably won't tap." She went to dance and did pretty good. She has walked with a little limp for a few days, but Kylee is tough!

I'm sure we have plenty more of these little mishaps coming our way. I'm not looking forward to those at all.

Counting Lessons

So, this morning was a lesson in counting from the one and only herself KYLEE!

It was something like this 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and so on until she gets to 15 then she is bound and determined it is fiveteen. I try to correct her and she corrects me with fiveteen. I ask what comes after fiveteen then, she says 16 17 18 19 20 and so on up until 29. When she comes up with the number twentyten. The same scenario as before of course not giving in one bit. I guess that stands. The princess has spoken!!!!!

My New Addiction

Addictions comes quit easy for me! I have to say my longest and still surviving, is my often urge for a cold Dr. Pepper. I could probably drop 10 pounds easy if I could quit. Not happening any time soon!

My next favorite is my addiction to making watch bands. Here are a few that I have been selling in my salon! If anyone of you need one I would be happy to help you out!

Just to let you know, I already have my next interest in mind. Stay tuned it won't be long before I have a new passion. Does this mean something else is going on inside my head?????

Last time he went he got a recipe for bread from one of the engineers. He decided to make it for the first time. Kylee wanted to help. They actually did a pretty good job. Stevens favorite thing is FRESH HOT BREAD out of the oven.

Easter

Easter is a time I always reflect on my thoughts of why I have trails and tribulations.

Many of you know I do hair for a living. I was asked this week, Why I am not able to bear children of my own. I gave the following answer to this question. They (medical professionals) are unable to give me a answer. I think to myself why is she asking such a personal question.

Then the next thing she asked was, do you get frustrated with young girls who can get pregnant? I do have a lot of different feelings about this, but to answer that question. NO! I feel that the Lord has a plan for me as well as for young mothers or girls who are pregnant. I think through personal experience I have learned this.

Let me try to explain, many times we are placed in a situation where we are unsure of an outcome or answer. Well sometimes shortly after we go through the circumstance we receive answers to are questions. Sometimes it is years later. It all depends on you and your willingness to listen to the answer! I have learned my trails are different than the next persons. I also learn and respond to different things as well.

My biggest and most life learning experience was being humbled (in every sense of the word) to infertility and the manner in witch we would build our FOREVER FAMILY! I am compelled to share my experience at this time. I have great respect for the the woman who gave my daughter life. She to me is a hero. She is a big part of my life as well as Kylee's and Stevens. She gave Kylee life because we are unable. She was a tool in the Lords hands. She knew of the Lords plan for Kylee, and was following the spirit when she placed Kylee in our home. You may not understand this but I do.

Kylee has done more for us than we could ever do for her. I know she is a beautiful daughter of God! Kylee is precious in our eyes. She was sent to us to teach us many different things. The most precious is that we are children of God, that he has a plan for you and me. No words could ever explain the testimony I have of my Saviors love for me and you (if your still following) but I know he cares and blesses our lives individually.
Thank you to the client that asked those questions. I feel blessed that I can share my feelings and hopefully help others!

There is a video on you tube called "An Apostles Easter thoughts on Christ!" I tried to post this but couldn't this is my voice to this clip. Watch it you will be moved!

A few wedding cakes!

My week has been a busy one. I was very busy doing hair. I worked a few extra hours to fit some people in. I definitely feel blessed to have such loyal clients. I can't believe I have been doing hair now for sixteen years!

A few of you know I do a few different things on the side to keep me busy as well. One of my side hobbies include making wedding cakes. I know you probably think I must be crazy! Don't feel bad, I know I am. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to post a few of the cakes I have done.

Last night we watched the biggest loser. I love this show. After it was over Kylee stood up on the couch and said "Mom I've lost 45 pounds." So funny! She even posed the way they do. I got my camera out to take her picture, and she posed once again.
By the way, I don't think she even weights 45 pounds.
