Many of you have asked where we are at in our Gestational Carrier situation lately. We have had a few weeks of not much progress. We are currently getting papers ready to go in for adoption too. We really are unsure about what we are doing right now.
We either need to find another person who is willing to carry for us. Or figure out another solution we are comfortable with. Gestational carriers are a long process, because you have to have had great health while in past pregnancies. Also good deliveries. Pass a lot of tests from the clinic we are going through. Be willing to go to psychologist appointments. Then you have to meet all state requirements. Its something that takes awhile to contemplate out. We have been in contact with a few girls but things don't seem to be working out in that area.
We are still hopeful for this and would love more than anything for it to work out. We feel like it is a great possibility, although this is our 1st choice right now, we know that our possibility for adoption has worked in the past and we would be willing to travel that road again. If something works out that is right for our family. Adoption has blessed our life beyond measure, and we would love for another child to be in our home and family!
We will continue to pray for the right answers. We look forward to our future possibilities. We know that our family is blessed and will continue to be through this too!
