Snowman Weather

Kylee and Steven, have been waiting for the perfect snow to create a wonderful snowman. Here he is. Kylee has looked out the door many times to see if he has melted. Steven loves the snow. I don't think he should be outside without his coat though!
Here is Kynzee she was waiting patiently inside for them to finish. What a good girl!

Deeper Feelings

These 2 are loved by so many people! The fun little ears are from Kylee's birthmother!

Sisterly bonds! Kylee is always kissing on Kynzee!

Well it is officially Monday morning . I am still awake. I know, I will be regretting this late night tomorrow. When Kynzee won't take a nap, and Kylee wants to play. Anyway, I sit here with a few thoughts in my head.

We like to watch a movie on Sunday as a family and so we watched August Rush yesterday. I really like this show. I love the determination this little boy has to find his parents. I love to watch something uplifting once in awhile.

This got me thinking about my girls. I know I have said before how much I love them. Lately I have been so grateful for their lives. They are so special.

I think of Kylee and I marvel at what a wonderful mind she has. She is so intelligent. She lifts me up. She is darling and such a natural little beauty. She has done so much for Steven and I. Our relationship has truly blossomed because of the experiences we had trying to get her. That might sound funny to a lot of you. The Lord knew the roads we needed to travel and he lead us to them. How I wonder how many times we were instructed to do certain things in our life so that we could bring this family together.

Then there is our sweet little Kynzee. I am so grateful for her life. I don't let too many things consume me but she has. She is a breath of fresh air. She is my little one that smiles bigger than anyone I know. She is a tender spirit. She has been so loving and mild. She has such a cute personality.

I hunger for my girls when I don't see them for a few hours. I am so attached to them. I have been thinking alot about our finalization with Kynzee. I pray it goes smooth. I am a little nervous about it. We did receive word that the state she is from wanted more information. I so hope it is just a formality! I can't see my life complete without her. Further more our family exists with her in our arms. I am determined to make us whole.

We have a little over a month to go. We are hoping sometime in March this will be a path traveled and completed. We have to wait for things to be final before we can bless her and give her a name that she will be known by. I feel such a urgency to get this completed.

Then I have been sickened by the tragic deaths in Haiti! Oh how my heart goes out to those people. I watched a news cast on a 18 month baby girl who was rescued from the rubble after three days. No food or water and lying beneath rubble by supposedly her parent. My heart breaks! I can't even imagine what they are going through.

I hope we all realize how fortunate we are to be a part of a family and such a better place to dwell right now. I can not tell you how I wish I could rescue those children and love them. Their such a beautiful people. I can hardly take those eyes looking at you through the cameras. TEARS!!!!!!!!!!

I love my family! I hope I am traveling the path I need to right now. Life is so important to me. I hope my kids know they are loved with every fiber of their little beings! I could kiss them a million times over and they will be forever en graven in my soul!

Steven sometimes gets lost in my rubble. I need to give him more praise. He is such a good daddy to these two little ones. He protects them so well. He too loves them and looks out for them in the most concerned ways. Thank goodness he is there for us! I love him and know how important he is!

Christmas Morning

I am a little slow getting this post up! Sorry about that, I received the horrible flu for Christmas. Put me a little behind the game! I am better now and hope it doesn't come back anytime soon!

Kylee asked Santa for three things this year! Her dream came true with the Jewelry Maker, Princess doll set, and a baby doll Ariel of course. She loved Christmas this year and the joys of opening all the presents for everyone.
She got Kynzee a cute Ladybug car and also helped her unwrap it! Kynzee just took it all in.

My my my that bag is too big for her, but Kylee loved all that was in it! She was dancing all around the room! Couldn't open things fast enough!

I didn't get Christmas cards out this year! Just a little busier with two. The girls got new dresses for Christmas here are a few pictures!

Had to add this cute Christmas smile to the bunch! Kynzee has been entered into the cutest baby contest for, http://utahbabyguide.com/cutest_baby_contest.html. She would love your vote you just Email them at contest@utahbabyguide.com and write her entry # which is 5 in the subject line.

My Favorite Holiday!

Deck the halls, Sleigh bells ringing, Oh little town of Bethlehem, Jingle bells Jingle bells, Dashing through the snow, We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Have I said, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

This time of year reminds me so much of my childhood! I can't help but think of all the fun we had at Christmas time. We honestly had the very best Christmas's ever! My sisters and I would all gather in one bedroom upstairs for a slumber party. Not much of a slumber, but more of a party. We stayed up all night. Usually by 3 or 4 we were opening all of our presents. I still get butterflies in my stomach over Christmas! We heard reindeer on our roof top. We seen Rudolf's red nose. We knew Santa watched us and we tried so hard to be good. We even heard Santa's bells once or twice. So many memories we reminisce about know in life!

One of every ones favorite is me trying to sneak down the stairs. CCRRRRRREEAAAKKKYYY!

I would get down about half way and my mother would always say SYNDEE! GO BACK TO BED. What? First my name was the only name that she would say and second go back to bed we were never in bed!!! I gave them the bathroom excuse it worked well. The only problem was, I would have to walk through my parents room to get to the bathroom. Which you see, created the problem of NOT being able to see the TREE and the GOODS. How dare they! Well not to worry like I said 3 or 4a.m rolled around. They figured if they had a chance to get any sleep at all they would have to let us come down, open are gifts, and then they might be able to have a nap! Hahaha! We WON!

You can see the Miracle of Christmas is real! I dream of it every year. I love the children at this time. It is magical! It is still very magical for me as well. I think it has something to do with the fact that service is in the air all around!

My favorite Christmas story to tell, is the year my parents had very little money. Both of them very talented spent time doing odds and ends. So that they would be able to come up with, a Christmas that made are hearts sing and dance!

My mother made many many cabbage patch dolls that where so cute. From bums to toes to the realistic painted eyes. Each one had its own little charm and differences. She made something like 103 of the dolls for others to enjoy on Christmas morning! Little did we know, that is how they afforded Gifts for us that year. We had no idea until that morning my dad told us.
Tears fill my eyes every time I think of this. My mom had blisters on her fingers and a lot of the time created them when we would go to bed! MOMS are amazing! Simply amazing! She still makes lots of things for Christmas mostly blankets. I love getting new blankets when mine have worn holes. Thanks mom and dad!

Well as I reflect on this, I think of what my kids will remember when they get older. I can't wait for this Christmas with Kylee and Kynzee it is going to be great! Kylee is at that magical age and I more than anything what her dreams to come true!

I feel like our year has been a magical one as well. We are so blessed. We have had our prayers answered with a new bundle of JOY! We have been blessed with the means we needed to make that possible. We have had so many things to be grateful for that are unreal at times. So blessed and such a recipient of service! Thank you to are family and friends who have made our miracles happen! We are so grateful.

Leave me a comment on a miracle you have received this year! Then HUG your kids for me they make Christmas fun!
