Last night we watched the biggest loser. I love this show. After it was over Kylee stood up on the couch and said "Mom I've lost 45 pounds." So funny! She even posed the way they do. I got my camera out to take her picture, and she posed once again.

By the way, I don't think she even weights 45 pounds.

Happy Valentines Sweetheart!

This year for the big day Steven dipped pretzels for me. I was surprised he did it by himself. He did a great job. Yes all by himself! He also brought me a beautiful rose. What a great husband.

Kylee got her very first flower and treat as well. She loved her flower and princess card! She had a sleep over at Grandmas that night. I called her to see if she wanted to come home to receive her Valentine. She told me to bring it over to grandmas. It was quit funny! She had fun and I'm positive she got a little spoiled too!

Steven finally had a day off . We decided to take Kylee sledding. She wanted to invite a few friends so we called Kate an Z-boy. They all had a lot of fun. Zander was a complete gentlemen,taking Kylees sled up to the top of the mountain. He also carried her on it a few times. They were great and we sent them down some huge hills. I was so amazed they kept going and going and going.

We had one small problem, I forgot Kylee's boots. Check out her footwear in these photos, so funny. She did great in them. Not to mention they where a little huge on the poor girl. I felt really bad. She was a trooper. Well we could hardly get them in the truck to come home. Once they got in they were fast asleep. DAY OF FUN FOR SURE!

Braides braides and more braides!

So, I decided to try my skills at Cornrows. Holy Mac role this took a lot of time! She was so great at holding still. She played a lot of computer games and we took a break in the middle of it all to go to the movies. Don't worry she wore a hat. I must say she loved them and we will probably have to do this again. What have I begun? It was way easy to maintain throughout the week. No tears combing her hair in the morning that was bliss!

A GREAT WEEKEND AWAY!!!

This weekend ways a wonderful little getaway! I decided to go to my sisters house in Idaho. Sister time is wonderful for me it helps me relax and have fun at the same time. I was able to see Jody and Kelby, we had dinner with them on Saturday night before she went to work for the night. Kylee loves to see Jody she is always so welcoming and fun with her. Jody's little boy is growing up so fast, and he is such a big boy. His big SMILE is so cute and he is such a happy little thing.

We then went to the STOCKSTAD BED and BREAKFAST. She is such a great host. GOOD COMPANY, GREAT PLACE TO STAY, and WONDERFUL FOOD, THANKS for everything. Kylee had an absolute ball with her GIRLS! I'm still not sure why I packed clothing for Kylee. They played dress-up non stop. Intertwined with a few fights. They honestly had a great time. Kylee ended up going to primary with Andi and loved it. She only has been in sunbeams for a few weeks. I wasn't sure how she would do.

Kylees favorite was my sisters jetted tub. You would have thought she was at a swimming pool or something she had a BLAST! Or should I say SPLASH! It's so great for them to get together when they are little to develop great relationships with each other.

Steven has been working non stop all week while we have played. I really think he thinks he is overlooked. So I just want him to know we still care about him and are grateful for the things he does for us! MISSED HIM TOO!

Well it is time for me to BUCKLE DOWN and return to the daily tasks, Cutting hair, being a mom and wife! Thanks for letting me get away for the weekend!

TEMPLE SQUARE LIGHTS

ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO FOR CHRISTMAS IS GOING TO SEE THE LIGHTS AT TEMPE SQUARE. STEVEN HAD A CLASS IN SALT LAKE LAST WEEK. WE DECIDED THIS WOULD BE THE BEST TIME TO GO. WE PACKED A OVER NIGHT BAG AND HEADED TO THE BIG CITY. A MUCH NEEDED NIGHT AWAY. SINCE THE NIGHT BEFORE LITTLE MISS WASN'T HUNGRY SO SHE THREW HER SOUP ACROSS THE ROOM. DON'T WORRY, SHE CLEANED IT UP, SAT ON HER BED FOR A FEW MINUTES, CAME OUT AND QUICKLY APOLOGIZED FOR HER BEHAVIOR. ENOUGH ABOUT THAT ON TO BETTER THINGS WE FOUND A PARKING PLACE, PAYED TO PARK, BUNDLED OURSELVES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, AND IT WAS TIME TO WALK THROUGH TEMPLE SQUARE. WE ENJOYED THE NIGHT. WITH A CAMERA IN HAND WE BEGAN SNAPPING PICTURES. THEN LITTLE MISS TOLD US SHE WANTED TO TAKE OUR PICTURE. WE IMAGED THE PICTURE WOULD HAVE A HALF BODY SHOT OR ONE OF US WOULDN'T BE IN IT, BUT I THINK WE HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD THAT COULD BE A PHOTOGRAPHER. I WAS IMPRESSED SO WE LET HER TAKE A FEW, HERE THEY ARE.
THE BEST PART OF THE EVENING WAS WHEN A LITTLE FAMILY ASKED IF THEY COULD TAKE A PICTURE WITH ALL OF US IN IT. I THINK LITTLE MISS WAS OFFENDED BY THIS BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO LOOK AT THEM. SHE ONLY WANTED TO TAKE PICTURES. I COULDN'T HELP BUT LAUGH.

Merry Christmas to us! Saturday night we spent the evening in the Emergency room with little miss! I have no idea why we all wait until the weekend to get sick.
So after 4 hours of needles, tears, blood tests, nose issues, and comforting her with apple juice and books. They decided to send her home with some breathing treatments. Also medication to make her airways open more. Ever since, she has been way HYPER! What a crazy thing. I was so grateful we got right on top of things she is doing much better know. Thank goodness we all might be able to sleep a little better.
Anyway we have had a few parties this week. Some of our friends got together on Thursday night to eat and exchange white elephant gifts, the prize winning gift happened to be the Tampax Earrings that where carefully handcrafted by one of our friends. Then the same couple signed a picture of themselves and framed it. The most entertaining ever. The other party was scheduled for Saturday unfortunately Little Miss was sick and we cancelled.

Dance ,Dance , Dance , this is our little one's first performance in front of a crowd she of course is the cutie in the pictures. I can't hardly believe she is three and she is so big of course. I'm sure her dad and myself were the ones in the crowd with the biggest smiles ever. So fun! We had a wonderful time at Thanksgiving with our family's. Friday was even better, I took the day off to recover from a sore throut and spent the day doing crafts with my sisters. I love when we get together and do stuff like that. Satuday we spent the night decorating. We had a lot of fun. Not to mention the blast the little princess had. She was so excited to place the star on the top of the tree. What a wonderful time for our kids. I know this year will be the best yet. How exciting for us.

This blogging is pretty fun. I hope to get the hang of everything really soon. I have been catching up on all my Friends, by looking at the blogs they have created. I have a long ways to go. Many of them are doing a lot of fun things. Congrats to all of you whom have taken on new things in life.
I need to caught you all up on my life. Steven and I have decided to put our papers in for adoption again. We are so grateful for our first daughter. We hope we are able to have another great experience that will bless our lives once again. I have really enjoyed this past year. Working from my home has been a great blessing, I have enjoyed being able to work on home duties in the middle of appointments. I'm keeping busy making different crafts and keeping track of our busy little girl. I love our new home we have been in it for a little over a year now. We have been finishing our basement so sooner or later we will be done with everything. I have decided building is not fun. For all of you who decide to do that, GOOD LUCK !
Steven and I are going to go to his parents home for Thanksgiving feast. Then we are going to head over to my family's for PIE! I have so many things to be grateful for at this time in my life,
