Father's Day in Price

We went to Price Utah this weekend to spend Father's Day with Steven. He was so happy to see us. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. (Is that how it goes?) We do miss him. It seems to make you understand how important the Father in your life is. He does so many things for Kylee and myself! We can't go without him very long.

We did have a fun day with him in Price.

We went to the dinosaur museum. We had lunch at a good cafe. We also enjoyed the scenery driving there.

At the end of the day we received this beautiful rainbow. Kylee was so excited. I should of took her picture when she was jumping up and down pointing and yelling look, look, a rainbow, a rainbow!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, it is also our 6th anniversary today! Not only will I give Steven recognition for being such a great and wonderful Father, but also a great and wonderful husband. We love you!
I also want to wish our father's a happy father's day. We love you too.

Saint George turns to girl trip!

We traveled to Southern Utah this weekend, for my dearest friend Sherisses wedding. I was honored that she asked me to do hair. Thanks to Sherisse we had a great weekend full of fun.

Oh did I title this GIRLS TRIP? Just let me explain. On Wednesday, I found out Steven would be working in Price Utah for awhile. Which put a twist on my plans. He took our trailer on Thursday and moved to Price. I have no idea when things will change, thanks to the trusty Railroad never knowing where to place the workers.
I was frantically calling people to travel with. My friend Holly and her daughter Taylor ended up going with Kylee and I. It was really fun. We traveled on Friday. Meet Steven for lunch in Price Utah at Wingers and visited a little while. It broke the trip up for us.

We arrived in St. George around 5 o'clock. Checked into the hotel and was off for pedicures. Then we went to eat at a Pizza Factory. HUMMY bread sticks the size of Texas. We came back, took a little soak in the hot tubs. Followed it with some bumble berry custard from Nielsons Custard shop. Then we returned back to the hotel for a little rest. We didn't sleep to much this trip. Kylee and Taylor both had a bit of a cough! (should I say)

On Saturday we woke up around 8 o'clock took our time getting ready, and it was off for a day of shopping. We ended up coming back to the hotel around 1 o'clock ate some lunch and out to the pool for a little rain and sun. Yes, it did sprinkle a little while we was basking by the pool. Nothing like the rain we have had here for the last 2 weeks. Then 3:30 rolled around and I was off to do a little wedding hair. We meet some of the girls in the lobby of a hotel that Sherisse and I used worked with. I should just say it was the perfect little reunion.

We actually made it to the wedding. The ceremony was beautiful. The bride was stunning. This is the only picture I will post of her because I'm sure most of you will get all the other details from her blog. The grounds were divine so we took a few pictures by the fountains and red rocks. She couldn't of pick a prettier place.

By this time we have been running wild for the past 2 days. We had to fit in one more relaxing soak. Off to the hot tubs once again. This was Kylee's favorite place the entire trip. She had a BLAST!

We drove home Sunday, stopped in at Ruby River for lunch, and made it home in time to get unpacked and jump in bed. We are playing catch up on laundry today.
We can't wait for Steven to return home so we can see him. Kylee keeps asking why he's not home. Dumb jobs get in the way of everything. Who knows, it might be next month before we actually see him!

You know a few months ago, I had no idea this blog world existed. I have become almost addicted to it. For the fact it is fun to record many events of my life. To keep in contact with a few people I don't see regularly. I have found it is quit addicting to spend hours on here, reading many posts of lives I don't even know. This is crazy, I understand that, but for some reason a heart felt post just draws me in. I also think it's been a great way to let people into your life a little without breaking down in tears telling them stories about yourself.

Many of you out there have endured many trails in your lives. Many of you have been through so much. I want to just name a few that amaze me personally. Addictions, abuse, adoptions, depression, death, infertility, divorce, loneliness, wealth and poverty, marriage, loss of child or children, mental and physical disabilities. Many more I'm sure. Some of you have endured many more than others. I marvel at the people that with stand these things. So many other, that lend a willing hand to recover some of the issues that result from the problems these things cause.

The last few months Steven and I have been heavily involved in the adoption world of things. This may seem quit minimal to some of you. For myself, I have spent numerous hours lying awake at night wondering how this will take place. I wonder, if we will receive a phone call in the middle of the night that informs us of a new arrival, or if it will be planned out to the last detail. To be honest, if this is the right time for a adoption to take place in our life. I wonder everyday WHAT we should do to find the right situation for us. Do you wonder if Heavenly Father tests every humbling situation to see what your willing to go through for something you desire so bad?

I have had many things in my life that have taken a great deal of FAITH, to deal with. Never have I looked at this situation with little faith, because it takes so much. It is a pure miracle we have a healthy daughter as it is. To add to our family that would be miraculous. We would love it.

I am going to use you for a moment, if I can. I would love it if you keep us in your prayers. I do know many of you do this anyway, but I'm doing my part. I hope that isn't to much to ask. Who knows it might even save me a night of sleep. I have decided it takes a village to raise a child. I figured it probably would take a few more prayers than mine to receive a child as well. Thanks we appreciate you. For all of you who might have stumbled onto this by accident. I invite you to help us too!

CAMPING AT WILLOW FLATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kylee is enjoying nature to the fullest!

These are our nieces that come to stay with their Grandparents for the summer! They enjoyed the weekend with us.

Steven spent half our camping trip worried about insurance on our four wheeler. Yes we are covered!

Kylee was enjoying her imagination on the four wheeler. Pretending is so much fun.

Since, I look horrendous when I camp. Here are the pictures, I took to fill my place!

We went camping over the holiday, at Willow flats. It was so beautiful there. The water, relaxed all of us. The campfire, was mesmerizing. The conditions, were great we went four wheeling and ate great amounts of food. The company was delightful. I am fulfilled!

We went to Grandma's a few days ago for buggy rides! I haven't had the chance to post it so I thought I would add it to this one!

Horse and buggy rides for all the grand kids when they go see Grandma in the summer! They all love it. This is Arikka, Zander, Kylee, and Grandma Sue.
All of them love to help get her ready!

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch

Kylee was out playing on her awesome playground. (She thinks the park by our house is hers.) While running with a rock, she tripped on the sidewalk. Her rock and shoe went flying.

Steven went running! The first thing she said to him was "Dad, I lost my rock and my shoe." Then she seen her poor little toe. Started to cry. Dad carried her into mom to doctor up. She did pretty well, it makes me hurt to look at the pictures of her wound. OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!

Steven laid down with her to take a nap and asked her if she would be able to dance. Kylee said "I think so but I probably won't tap." She went to dance and did pretty good. She has walked with a little limp for a few days, but Kylee is tough!

I'm sure we have plenty more of these little mishaps coming our way. I'm not looking forward to those at all.

Counting Lessons

So, this morning was a lesson in counting from the one and only herself KYLEE!

It was something like this 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and so on until she gets to 15 then she is bound and determined it is fiveteen. I try to correct her and she corrects me with fiveteen. I ask what comes after fiveteen then, she says 16 17 18 19 20 and so on up until 29. When she comes up with the number twentyten. The same scenario as before of course not giving in one bit. I guess that stands. The princess has spoken!!!!!
